Kindergarten (KG)

Kindergarten (KG)

Kindergarten in O.M.A is an integrated 3 year program with a group of 35 students per class, between the ages of 3-6 years. They are classified as Nursery, LKG & UKG. This program provides the opportunity for peer learning in addition to fostering the spirit of caring and sharing among the group of children. In KG we have mixture of Montessori and Conventional method of learning. Singing and dancing are an integral part of Kindergarten learning. Throughout the year, children have different activities based on specific theme and festivals. We concentrate on the child's emotional development while simultaneously preparing them for the Nursery, during the 3 year program.

Primary School Programme

Children in the primary school are provided with learning opportunities that recognize and celebrate their uniqueness, develop their full potential and prepare them to meet the challenges of the 21st century. The focus is on the child as learner. This curriculum necessitates the use of a variety of teaching methodologies and activities that have been designed to evoke curiosity, investigation and analysis, develop communication skills, social and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem solving.

It's important that the teachers measure this learning. Hence at O.M.A we have a formal continuous, authentic, and appropriate assessment methodology.
